Complete DVD rips of Always Sunny seasons 1-10 are up on the Internet Archive, as well as Blu-ray rips of Season 6's bonus features. Everything is included; episode commentaries, bonus features, bloopers, deleted scenes, etc etc. all episodes soft-subbed in English, French and Spanish. Go nuts.
I'll continue adding to this archive when I can, I plan on archiving various commercials and internet exclusive content from FX's YouTube channel as well, since they've been taking various videos down lately.

Another question; the MC probably carries the cornstarch around as a sort of "Grease deterrant" (or is it just, part of the job??), but do they have anything like that for the other two? Or are they generally well-behaved enough that it isn't necessary?
"Grease deterrent" is 100% correct. As for Hawthorn and Calmo, no. Grease is the most devious out of the three and needs some cornstarch thrown on him now and then so MC can actually get to work and not have to deal with being chased all the time by an oil demon.
MC does learn that Hawthorn is easily distracted by lights and will go out of his way to turn off such obstructions (MC has lost the privilege of MC's phone once or twice due to Hawthorn slipping it away and turning it off). Hawthorn is the most well-behaved out of all of them, but that's not to say he doesn't occasionally spook or alarm MC or do some sly things. He's still a creature of the night, but he's a gentleman too.
Calmo is difficult and stern when it's inconvenient for MC, like when it gets too late at night and Calmo asks (tells) MC to get into bed already because of MC's early shift tomorrow or MC hasn't had anything to eat all day and Calmo is forcing MC to sit down and have a proper meal. Calmo is not the least bit excited about water and there are a few buttons MC could push that would shut him down, but he only shows MC those buttons with careful instructions to press them if MC ever feels unsafe around Calmo or Calmo isn't acting like himself.

Something that's been on my mind for a while is that a lot of artists have been struggling to find programs that work with their budgets. Adobe's prices are... infamous, to say the least, and there seems to be a sharp learning curve for the more affordable options. And if you're like me, you might not feel comfortable with pirating to get an art program that is out of your price range. So here's a list of free art/editing tools. Any options without links are either mobile apps or can only be downloaded on Macs: Options without ads or watermarks:
FireAlpaca (notes: while this is an art program at heart, it can also be used as basic photo editing software once you get the hang of it. There is also a blog dedicated to tutorials on how to use FA in case you get stuck)
Medibang (note: the aforementioned FireAlpaca blog has some information on this software as well)
Krita (note: also available as an app for android and Google devices)
Storyboarder (notes: not to be confused with "Storyboarder.AI". While this program does require your email address before downloading, it is safe to use as far as I know (but please use caution regardless))
Pixilart (notes: link leads to browser version, also available as a mobile app)
Audacity (notes: apparently, the company behind this software, Muse Group, have also created a separate, subscription-based AI-voice program. I am unsure if it uses AI in a way that is generally considered to be ethical, like SynthV does, or if it follows the trends typically expected of those kinds of applications. The reason that I include this information is that I want to give everyone the ability to make an informed decision about whether or not they want to use anything from Muse Group, as I know many users on this site are anti-AI. However, I also know that some of those users wouldn't mind using Audacity since downloading it wouldn't be giving Muse Group monetary support - hence why the program is staying on the list.)
Clipchamp (notes: there are also paid tiers for this program. It is also available in-browser and as an iOS app. Furthermore, please be aware that there are some optional features that use AI)
iMovie (note: also available as a mobile app on iOS devices)
DramaQueen (notes: this is a software used to write scripts for plays, movies, etc. While it does require you to fill out some information before downloading, as far as I am aware, it is safe to use (but as always, use your own discretion))
Options that do have ads, watermarks, or microtransactions
ibisPaint X
Sketchbook (notes: formerly known as "Autodesk Sketchbook". PC and Mac versions do exist, but you have to pay to download them)
Medibang Paint
Capcut (note: has optional AI tools).
Be sure to check what system requirements are necessary for each program, and be aware of their limitations before downloading (for example, many users report Clipchamp has a tendency to crash, while others seem to be able to use it fine). Also, please feel free to add on to this. I know I haven't even scratched the surface here, as I tried to stick to software that I've either heard of extensively or have used personally.

An alternative to google docs
To paraphrase a recent post: google docs is pants as a writing tool.
I'm suggesting MS Word as an alternative. Yeah, I know, it's not perfect, but it is (IMO), better than google docs.
But I'm not just suggesting Word when I suggest Word. I'm suggesting a free Microsoft account, which gives you Word and OneDrive.
It only takes a minute or two and a free account gets you:
Word in the browser
A OneDrive with 5gb of storage - now, 5gb might not be much holistically but in terms of text based documents, it's decent. My entire 'Fic' folder is 2.11gb. That's everything I've ever written and all their drafts, wips and their multiple drafts, betaed fics, ideas, writing refs and guidance, archived drafts/fics, AND the 500+ fics I've downloaded as epubs from AO3).
Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote - basically the whole Microsoft365 suite - in the browser
I use Word exclusively, both for fic and for work (where I write extensively), and the online version does everything I need. It autosaves, has version control/reversion, and sharing (if that's what you're into), and you can seamlessly copy and paste from Word into AO3's rich text editor - no formatting adjustments required.
Anyway, it's something to think about. If you want to give it a try, the simplest way is to create a new OneDrive account, which will also give you everything else.
Go here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/microsoft-365/onedrive/online-cloud-storage (clickable link)
Click 'Create a free account'.
Click 'get a new email address' and follow the prompts (recommended but not required) or use an existing email address. If you create a new email address, don't actually use it for email. It's just the umbrella the account sits under.
That's it; you're done.

I still think Mass Effect's differentiating approach between "Artificial Intelligence" (true sentient sapient learning growing digital Intelligence) and "Virtual Intelligence" ('fake' intelligence, an Advanced Software, a glorified interactive database interface-slash-personal assistant, limited functionality) would be very useful in current AI discourse because it's correct that we do not have AI. We have VI. The problems come from pretending VI is the same as AI, insisting it's the same as AI, expecting it to perform like AI, and expecting it to understand like AI. but I'm just hollerin at walls

Romeo@Rimi: Hey Rimi, Guess you made it to the party as well. And I'm liking the mask, I bet Vinny is gonna like it too. So you got any plans for the event? I'm still trying to find out what to do here and the only thing I got are these candied berries that the Ogerpon kid mention earlier.
Tumblr media
Thanks, Romeo! Of course he would, really loved his Rockruff onesie... Our plans? Well, we came here to play games, talk to different folks, eat different types of food. But what about the latter... Well...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Noey gave me some candies of different varieties earlier while I've talked to someone. Also this Ogerpon told me that there's TONS of different games here. There's Goldeen scooping, ring toss, etc. But so far we've only played the ring toss. Come on, Romeo! Wanna join the fun?
Rimi smiles with a great optimism.

we have a big grant report due at the end of the month. we usually get data submissions in by mid-month.
coworker is responsible for 1 out of the 10 outcomes we report on.
we had a huge delay getting this data from our partner because of a lapsed contract; it should've taken about a week or two and it took nearly 2 months.
i sent him the data on 2/21. i reminded him of when we'd need aggregated for the grant report.
i was out for a procedure part of last week, so i circled back to my boss today to ask if he had spoken with my coworker about the data needed for the grant because i hadn't received or heard anything, and wasn't sure if i was expected to do this analysis (i've never done it before).
i get a call from my coworker to clarify what is needed. i also discover that he already had vacation scheduled next week (during the month of a major grant report!!!).
he calls me two more times between 3-5pm, once in "panic mode" (his words), wanting clarification on more things, stressed presumably because he doesn't have much time to do this.
i am not able to offer a whole lot of support because like. you dropped the ball. again. sorry. sucks to suck i guess.
it's worth noting that at least one reason this panic is happening is because he has been working on a dashboard that my boss wants done for submission in the report as a supplemental (but also for internal and eventually external use). he's been working on it since at least january, maybe late december. we've reviewed this dashboard in our team multiple times, provided feedback, only to find during the next review that few of the basic changes had been made. this happened multiple times. we had a presentation of this dashboard scheduled early february and it's had to be moved back twice. not only that, but he has still been coming to me with questions regarding the dashboard that i've already answered at least once.
i'm on a team with 2 other people but it feels like 1.5 on a good day.

So I'm rewatching atla rn and I just need y'all to appreciate this 30 second scene because I haven't heard many people talk about it:
youtube
It's just so peaceful and serene and I just love the thought that even though there's war going on, there's Iroh and a bunch of other older generals who might not exactly want to be a part of this war and kill people either can appreciate a bit of music and dancing every now and then. I'm sad that there isn't a longer version of this song but at least we have this bit. I mean yes, Leaves From The Vine is very meaningful and beautiful and we all jam out to Secret Tunnel, but we must not forget the beauty of Winter Spring Summer and Fall either!

I downloaded a flow chart software (yEd) just to visualize the Playboyy relationships and am amused how the automated layout flow changes whenever I add another relationship line. (contains spoiler)
That's a whole city center subway plan. (open in new tab)
Tumblr media
I used the category terms very broadly to minimize the amount of lines. Tell me if I forgot something.
